Are you between 18 and 30 years old, creative, flexible, and curious about life in a rural setting? Immaginaria Cooperativa Sociale is looking for international volunteers for a long-term European Solidarity Corps (ESC) project, funded by the European Union.
Who we are Immaginaria is a social cooperative founded in 2012 in Sant’Angelo a Cupolo, in the Campania region. We use art as a tool for community empowerment — working with children, elderly people, people with disabilities, and migrants — and operate internationally by hosting and training practitioners in the cultural and social sector.
Where the project takes place The volunteering project is based in Pastene, a small village of about 600 inhabitants near Benevento. Volunteers will stay on the upper floor of the community centre “Il Borghetto”, opened in January 2026: 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and a living room with a working fireplace.
Activities Volunteers can take part in community music, social theatre and videomaking workshops; bio-architecture and upcycling activities; sustainable cooking and foraging walks; management of artists’ residencies and training courses; community animation and local events; digital content production such as web radio and podcasts.
What’s included The ESC programme covers a daily allowance (€6 pocket money + €6 food allowance), a travel contribution calculated via the official Erasmus+ Distance Calculator, and HENNER insurance coverage for international participants.
Who we’re looking for We’re looking for active and enthusiastic people, interested in non-formal education and youth work, able to work in a team and adapt to contexts with significant cultural differences.
